Graffiti and the Art of Protest: as part of her exhibition I Can Heal And Give You Art, artist Emily Catherine will give a visual interactive lecture about what Graffiti is, where and why it started. She will discuss its evolution and influence on art movements synonymous with social justice. This talk will be followed by a group discussion and Q&A session. 

29th August to the 31st August - 11am to 7pm.

Ages 16+ recommended due to discussion of adult issues and use of strong language. 

Reflecting on a decade of artistic creation, I Can Heal and Give You Art is a celebration of Emily Catherine’s multidisciplinary practice that is deeply influenced by Hip Hop culture and her humanistic values. A highly versatile artist emblematic of her generation, Emily’s practice marries strong personal values with a deep concern for social justice. These principles, which guide her when working on both commissioned and independent creative projects, allow her to maintain her signature, authentic artistic style throughout.

The exhibition is open from 25th to 31st August 2024, from 11am to 7pm every day. Free to visit - all welcome but get tickets.
