Adult Play

The post-pfunk / Salop-Hop Adult Play band from Shrewsbury have released their latest EP offering Deep Recess Dial Up Despair and we really, really like it, we like it so much we thought we’d let them jump the queue for our Sept Music Radar front page cover.

Apparently they once wrote a song that Simon Le Bon liked that has that 'flats in dagenham' cadence. 'Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh pay no more 'cus we don't owe anybody.' It's called See Me Now' and was played on Radio 6 Music by Tom Robinson and it was also played on Radio 1.

The band have done some gigs this year like LoopFest and In The Sticks and hopefully their gonna start playing some more gigs this year and next. We’d quite like to see them.
