Lime Garden
Brighton’s Lime Garden have burst onto the alternative scene with a sound as fearless and energetic as the city they call home. Originally formed in Guildford, the band took root in Brighton, rebranding themselves from LIME to Lime Garden and solidifying their place in the UK’s indie music landscape. Their self-described "wonk pop" approach defies genre conventions, blending the infectious rhythms of disco, the soaring atmosphere of surf rock, and the emotional intensity of indie.
The four-piece band—fronted by Chloe Howard on vocals and guitar, with Annabel Whittle on drums, Leila Deeley on guitar, and Tippi Morgan on bass—came together through a shared love of experimental music, which has blossomed into a tight-knit group dynamic. Their bold fusion of sounds is encapsulated in their debut album One More Thing, released on 16 February 2024. This album brings together their most ambitious work yet, following a string of successful singles including "Nepotism (Baby)", "Love Song", "I Want to Be You", and "Mother."
Having already toured the UK alongside the likes of IDLES, Yard Act, and Sunflower Bean, Lime Garden have built a reputation for their electrifying live shows. Their infectious energy has earned them a dedicated following, which only continues to grow as they conquer stages at major festivals like Latitude, Reading & Leeds, and Green Man.
As Lime Garden’s sound evolves, it’s clear they’re not just another indie band—they’re a force to be reckoned with, pushing the boundaries of genre and carving out a space where youthful rebellion and musical innovation collide.
The band are touring in 2025.
