Eyre Llew
Eyre Llew, which most of you lot probably know of, are a Nottingham-based trio known for their atmospheric ambient rock sound, have been making waves since their formation in August 2014. They gained significant attention with their debut album Atelo in 2017 and a split EP with South Korean band In The Endless Zanhyang We Are in 2019. Their debut album, released independently, was celebrated with a sold-out show at Nottingham's Glee Club and was noted for its impact in various music outlets, reaching #24 in Drowned in Sound’s Top 100 albums of 2017.
The band’s dynamic live performances have taken them across 25+ countries, including appearances at major festivals such as Glastonbury, The Great Escape, and Liverpool Sound City. They’ve also played at international festivals in places like Singapore, Taiwan, France, and South Korea. Their work has earned them praise from prominent outlets like Kerrang! and BBC Radio 1, and they have been featured in several film and TV syncs.
In recent years, Eyre Llew have been focusing on writing and recording their second album, with a pause in touring to concentrate on new material. Despite the break, their reputation continues to grow, and they have secured significant label interest and management. The band is set to perform at Future Echoes in Sweden and has plans for more international festivals and tours. They have also been recognized as part of INES#talent, showcasing their growing influence across Europe.
With a history of sold-out shows and critical acclaim, Eyre Llew are poised to elevate their presence further in the music scene in the coming year with new music and loads of gigs, they’ll be playing the Bodega on the 14th September.
