Soft Loft
Soft Loft is the musical manifestation of 25-year-old Jorina Stamm, a songwriter and singer who turned her daily struggles and quiet moments into something beautifully tangible. Hailing from a small town in Switzerland, Soft Loft was born out of the cocoon of past musical projects and found its sonic identity in the spring of 2022. What started as a solo endeavor soon evolved into a collective, where each member plays their part in crafting a sonic sanctuary that allows the broken and imperfect to feel seen.
Soft Loft’s sound is a rich blend of soft pop, indie rock, and elements of folk, a mixture that echoes the melancholic beauty of everyday life. It’s where raw vulnerability meets heartfelt music, and where each track feels like an invitation into the personal world of Stamm and the band. It’s also where dreams and reality blur, and anything that flows from the heart can take shape.
Their debut EP In Case You Still Get Lonely dropped in June 2023, followed by the album The Party and The Mess in March 2024, showcasing the evolution of their sound into something truly special. The latest release, Leave The Light On, continues their mission of providing a safe space through sound, enveloping listeners in a warm, yet haunting atmosphere.
The band’s work is produced by the Grammy-nominated Gianluca Buccellati, whose credits include Arlo Parks, Biig Piig, and Lana Del Rey. Soft Loft’s music is the product of late-night studio sessions in isolated spaces, including a cozy house in Ticino, Switzerland, where the band found themselves cut off from the world and immersed in their creative process.
In every note and lyric, Soft Loft is about trust, connection, and the shared humanity that unites us all – creating a space for anyone to come as they are, without pretense or judgment.
