The Pot Noodle Sandwich

They are quick. They are easy.

And they are yummy scrummy.

Pot noodles have been a well loved British comfort food for over 40 years, you’ve got Chicken & Mushroom, Beef and Tomato, Sweet and Sour, Original Curry, Chow Mein, Korma, Sticky Rib, Bombay Bad Boy, Christmas Dinner and even a Pot Noodle Donner Kabab, yes that’s absolutely fricking right!

But hang on there you Pot Noodlers, stop dipping in that bread and butter at the end of your feed fest and do it the right way from the beginning; make a Pot Noodle sandwich.

And for all the doubters out there, shut your face, it’s a thing and to prove it we’ve written up a recipe and method below.

Ingredients

Choose your Pot Noodle

Chunky farmhouse bread or for those that are saving or have put all your money into crypto any old bread will do, well not old, but you know what I mean.

Lurpack Butter (just because it’s my favourite, use what you want but don’t use marge if that’s still a thing)

Method

STEP 1

Make your Pot Noodle of choice, but don’t fill it right up to the line, a bit below it will do, you want the scrummy mix to have less pot noodley juice

Let the mix settle and stir it, add your sauce packet or be a massive rebel and pimp up your pot with whatever condiments and sauces you love and have hanging around, go mad, you only have one shot at the title so live a little

STEP 2

Butter your chunky bread, again pimp it up with anything you want, bang on some tomato sauce or sprinkle it with curry powder or both and pretend it’s a currywurst sauce, just get creative

STEP 3

Tip the pot onto your bread and close with the other slice.

Take a picture to show your mates then stuff it down your fizzog.
